Learning about a new material is an exciting experience seeing the varieties of colour combinations and realising the endless possibilities is exciting. Focusing on one design, immersed in the moment of creativity, you have the opportunity to make a keep sake that is festive and unique.

Participants learn about the beauty and colour of glass while making a flat glass panel from coloured glass.
There will be a glass cutting and hot glass demonstration before the colour and fun and designing begins.

The finished artwork is a brightly coloured glass creation that is assembled and fired to produce a flat glass panel.
Gaining a fundamental understanding and appreciation of glassmaking is our aim.

Note:

All materials for glassmaking workshop are supplied
Your artworks are available after the high temperature fuse firing – ready for collection after 3-4 days
Pre-made samples assist participants with the designing and glassmaking processes
Participants must wear closed toed shoes and preferable casual clothes to work in the outdoor workshop
Everyone must wear glasses to protect their eyes.
